Can I return my item(s)?

Our products are predominantly handcrafted from wood and other natural and/or reclaimed materials and, as a result, there will be some variation in size, colour, finish, fabric (for upholstered goods), texture, grain pattern etc. This is what makes each piece unique. All these naturally occurring features are an integral part of our products and should be expected. As such, please be aware and be prepared to accept these variations. We regret, will not treat any of the above naturally occurring variations as defects.

Kate Newington Interiors does their utmost to ensure that all descriptions, specifications and/or photographs reflect the true condition, style and colour of the pieces. As stated above, because our products are created from wood and other natural and/or reclaimed materials, there will be some variation in size, colour, grain etc and so the item(s) you receive will not match the product image(s) in every single detail, eg. rust spots may be a different shape or size, paint distressing may vary. You are welcome to ask questions and / or request further information prior to purchase if you wish.

In the unlikely event you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please get in touch as soon as possible (and no later than 14 days from date of delivery).

Our Funky Monkey Collection is restored/refurbished and designed and built in our workshop here in Wales. As our Funky Monkey Collection is vintage, second hand and bespoke, Kate Newington Interiors does not offer refunds on these items.

What do I do if my item is damaged?

In the unlikely event that you receive a faulty or damaged item or you feel the item you have purchased does not meet the description given on the website, please do get in touch immediately (and within 24 hours of delivery) to allow Kate Newington Interiors to resolve the issue.

If your package appears damaged upon delivery, please ensure that “Package Damaged” is noted on the delivery paperwork or carrier's notes. In the case of any damages, you may be asked to send us photographs of either the packaging or the damaged item(s).

In the rare instance you do need to return an item to us, please be aware that the item is your responsibility until it reaches us. Therefore, for your own protection, we recommend that you send the parcel using a delivery service that insures you for the value of the goods. 

Returned items should be unused and must be returned in their original packaging (including all outer/inner boxes, any protective packaging, fixings etc) along with any accompanying documentation.

The cost of returning the item to us is your responsibility. Delivery charges are only refundable where goods are faulty and a refund is made. 

There are some small parts missing

Very occasionally, small parts, eg. bolts, are missing from a parcel. Please check the item's packaging thoroughly and, if you do have a small part missing, please let us know straight away so that we can provide replacement parts to you as quickly as possible.

I've changed my mind, can I cancel my order?

We will always do our utmost to try and accommodate amendments to an order upon request but we cannot guarantee it will be possible.

Unfortunately, we are unable to cancel orders once they have been despatched from our warehouse.
